Official unveiling of the inscribed bricks at Snarestone Wharf on Friday 2nd October 2020

ACA patron and local MP, Andrew Bridgen, accompanied by Nick Rushton, the leader of Leicestershire County Council, and Virge Richichi, the chairman of North West Leicestershire District Council attended a small ceremony at Snarestone Wharf today to unveil and view some of the 162 inscribed bricks, that have been bought by supporters of the Buy a Brick campaign. Each inscribed brick cost at least £100.00, and this has raised valuable funds for the Gilwiskaw Aqueduct Appeal.
The bricks have been made locally by the Ibstock Brick Company, who have generously supplied them to the ACA free of charge.
